Job Description

Venn Group are recruiting for a temporary to permanent Purchase Ledger Clerk position for a large established client based in Wolverhampton.


Duties include:

  • Process over 300 purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner on a weekly basis

  • Ensure payment runs are prepared and processed in accordance with agreed payment policy and schedules

  • Raise pro-forma payments in accordance with agreed policy

  • Agree and process contra payments ensuring timely and accurate allocation

  • Manage and reconcile GRNI provisions

  • Post payments to purchase ledgers

  • Reconcile supplier statements with the purchase ledger and take corrective action as necessary

  • Reconcile intercompany statements with the purchase ledger and take corrective action as necessary

  • Generate monthly intercompany recharges

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as and when required


The ideal candidate will:

  • Possess excellent communication skills

  • Have at least two years’ relevant purchase ledger experience

  • Possess excellent IT & Systems knowledge and experience
