Interim Test Manager

Venn Group is currently working with a top Higher Education organisation, recruiting for a Test Manager on a contract basis to lead the coordination, design and testing for a new Student Portal.

Rate: £300-£400 (outside IR35)
Location: South East
Length: 6 months

Job responsibilities include:

  • Defining a test strategy for the project, from its design, to coordination and hands on testing
  • Coordinating the testing of a complicated, multi-faceted application taking into account multiple stakeholders
  • Delivering manual testing processes or automated test tooling when appropriate
  • Assessing and developing regression tests and cross-system test data sets
  • Being point of contact and escalation for any testing queries
  • Producing reports and metrics for the project


The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience managing, co-ordinating and delivering tests for enterprise-wide applications
  • Experience with UAT, Systems Testing and Integration Testing
  • Experience working to Service Management methodologies, such as ITIL
  • Experience working in Higher Education is desirable
