Trailblazer Project Manager

Venn Group are currently recruiting for an exciting fixed term opportunity for a specialist project manager to work in the NHS

Rate: 8a Fixed Term  
Length: 12 months
Hours: 3 days per week
Location: London

The project involves the recruitment of a team of CYPMH staff, including Child Wellbeing Practitioners and Educational Mental Health Practitioners and establishing arrangements for these staff to work in local primary and secondary schools, as part of the wider Child and Young People Mental Health offer
Working in the Integrated Commissioning Team, the Project Manager will deliver key tasks including:

  • Establishing and monitoring a project management structure; developing the project plan, allocating tasks as appropriate, identifying risks, issues and dependencies, considering best practice and current options and making decisions in the best interest of the project
  • Engaging and communicating effectively with partners including schools, providers, parent/carers and children and young people, to develop and implement the new service model
  • Organising and facilitating project meetings
  • Establishing frameworks for capturing data and reporting on project delivery to key stakeholders at a local and national level
  • Operating effectively in a flexible and demanding environment
  • Management of budgets and identifying opportunities to deliver value for money and greater efficiency in the use of these budgets
  • Co-producing solutions with partners in the system; drawing from local insight on lessons learned from the current CAMHS offer as well as iterative partner feedback

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold experience of NHS children’s commissioning OR have a background across schools /Local Authorities within Children
  • Be able to manage project’s autonomously and hit the ground running
  • Be a strong communicator and able to meet strict deadlines
