I started on the legal team at Venn Group in August 2008 as a consultant, at a time when the economic climate was uncertain and recruitment was a hard market in which to be building a career. However, having just finished studying the LPC, I knew that there was scope and immense opportunity to develop within a market that I was interested and engaged in.
Now, I manage an incredibly talented and motivated public sector legal team. We are recruiters, but our mission is to offer the best possible quality of service, enhance our specialisms, utilise our skills through social value, develop our cherished client relationships, and last but not least, to develop ourselves both in and outside of our work.
We ensure that we live our values every day, so it is my responsibility and joy to develop my team, collaborate with them on exciting projects, and what’s more learn from them, so that my management style can be as individually tailored as possible to bring out everyone’s full potential.
In my spare time, I love going to the theatre, art galleries and museums. If anyone ever needs inspiration when picking a spot of culture to indulge in, I will always be happy to talk (at length) about my top-picks.
