Oliver Thornhill

I joined Venn Group in April 2024 having been in the recruitment industry since 2021 as an M&A Consultant, and then as an Executive Search Associate. Venn Group stood out from the rest when I made the leap into contract recruitment, the support, the progression potential, and the culture all shaped the way I saw the next chapter of my career beginning. I work within the Public Sector Local Government team in Bristol, covering all aspects across the Southwest and South Wales. It's a pleasure to work with both clients and candidates in the Local Government industry - whether it's sourcing the perfect candidates to assist local councils in everyday life or working directly with these professionals to secure their dream role, connecting these pieces is incredibly rewarding. Outside of work I'm a huge sports fan. I'm a very passionate Welsh rugby fan, I follow Arsenal, England cricket, and of course Wales darts, and still enjoy playing cricket, golf, and rugby when I can. Most often you'll find me in Bristol harbourside watching sport with a beer in hand!
