I chose to join Venn Group in September 2024 because of its strong reputation for teamwork, career progression, integrity, and genuine investment in both clients and consultants. From day one, I’ve been impressed by the supportive team culture and the emphasis on developing long-term relationships and partnerships with clients rather than short-term transactions. My favourite thing about working here is the people and my team. Everyone is driven, approachable, and dedicated to delivering an exceptional service to our clients. Being surrounded by motivated, hardworking, and successful people pushes you to be your very best. The support and the autonomy you receive as a new consultant is second to none. I have learnt so much and this support has allowed me to succeed in becoming a Senior Consultant in just a year whilst working in the legal public sector. I am passionate about building lasting partnerships with my clients, working collaboratively to solve unique challenges, and ensuring that the right legal talent is placed in the right roles. Working in public sector legal recruitment allows me to place talented legal professionals with opportunities that have a meaningful social impact. The public sector attracts people who are motivated by purpose, whether that’s improving and shaping fair policies or protecting communities. I’ve found it fascinating to explore the breadth and diversity of work within this space, gaining a deep understanding of how public sector legal bodies operate. This career has also given me the chance to give back to the community by partnering with clients to deliver workshops for university students, helping them navigate application processes and raising awareness of the incredible opportunities available in the legal public sector. I’ve always been interested in the legal sector, especially with my mother being a Solicitor, so a career in legal recruitment felt like the perfect fit! Outside of work I enjoy playing both tennis and netball as well as spending a lot of time with family and friends.
