1st Line Technical Support
We are working with a public sector organisation in London who are looking for 1st Line Technical Support to help support the team in their BAU operations.
Core deliverables of this post include:
- Provide high quality 1st line technical support and customer service to the company
- Preparation, installation, configuration, and maintenance of equipment, using the defined IT support processes
- Maintain regular communication with your line manager, colleagues and customers using company systems to ensure all IT incidents configurations and changes are recorded
- Maintain service continuity by documenting any changes to the customer IT systems within the designated client Change Management Database
- Assist the PMO in the delivery of a project, ensuring all tasks are completed
- Install and configure end user client device hardware operating systems and applications as directed by your line manager
- Replace IT hardware parts
- Prioritise and manage all your assigned open tickets ensuring excellent communication with the customer
Required skills/experience includes:
- Act as the first point of contact for the technical support request using both written and oral communication
- To be responsible for maintaining and keeping up to date your company loaned equipment to the highest standards
- Highly self-motivated and organised
- Work as part of a team and adopt flexible working practices
- Attend relevant courses and actively seek to broaden knowledge and skills relevant to your responsibilities
- Good knowledge of the IT market in order to build credibility with our customers
Location: Northeast London
Daily Rate: £100 - £120 umbrella
Length: one month moving to a permanent post paying up to £24,000
