We are delighted to be exclusively partnered with an Institute that are at the forefront of the Film & Media Industry, who are looking for an Accounts & Credit Control Assistant to join their high quality team.
The postholder will work on both purchase and sales ledgers and will reduce the risk of bad debt through effective credit control.
Your duties will include:
- Processing supplier invoices through the in house finance system
- Accurately processing documents for payments to suppliers within set timescales
- Ensuring and checking that all payments have been properly authorised
- Responsible for reconciliation and checking of supplier statements
- Raising sales ledger invoices
- Amending credit limits of customer accounts
- Crediting - checking customers and suppliers
- Assist with monthly distribution of bad debt reports
- Allocating receipts and payments
- Chasing up outstanding debt via email and phone
- Other credit control duties as directed by the Finance Manager
Candidate profile:
- At least 3 years’ experience in a finance transactions role
- Experience of credit control
- Excellent Excel skills (v-look up / pivot tables)
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Length: 12 month FTC – Permanent
Annual Salary: £30,000 - £31,500 per annum + excellent benefits
Hours: 35 per week
Location: Central London – 2 days per week on site
