Venn Group are recruiting for a permanent Accounts Assistant to join an established organisation based in Birmingham.
Duties include:
- Chasing debt from two ledgers valued between £1 - £4 million
- Managing a portfolio of over 300 live accounts
- Updating and maintaining the cash book
- Performing credit checks and setting / reviewing credit limits
- Opening new accounts; roughly five a day
- Allocating cash to the correct accounts
- Responsible for sales ledger duties and assisting with general finance when required
- Processing two weekly payroll runs for approximately 100 employees
- Carry out general payroll administration
- Resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner
The ideal candidate will:
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Have at least two years’ relevant experience within credit control and payroll
- Sage experience desirable
