Accounts Assistant

Dynamic and progressive organisation seeks an Accounts Assistant to join their team in Birmingham. The position would be ideally suited to a diligent and detail-oriented individual with experience undertaking reconciliations independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer income and expenditure accurately, maintaining full audit trails
- Ensure income is recovered and payments are made using the most relevant allocations
- Monitor all income and expenditure holding accounts
- Ensure any issues are promptly flagged to the relevant individual
Essential Experience:
- Experience in accounts administration
- Proficiency in accounting procedures
- Ability to undertake reconciliations independently
Desirable Experience:
- Experience handling queries and enquiries
- Familiarity with administering monitoring and payments systems
- Ability to support multi-disciplinary teams
- AAT qualification or equivalent
