A highly respected charity based in South East London is looking for an experienced and passionate Activities and Events Coordinator to join their team.
Location: South East London
Type: Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week
Daily duties:
• Responsible for leading and organising the company’s major external and industry relevant events
• Build and maintain relationships with external agencies and key community group resources
• Undertake various marketing, advertising, and promoting activities
• Retain professional relationships with external stakeholders
• Deliver and arrange various advice, advocacy and information sessions to clients in relation to physical health matters, education, training and employment
• Encourage, motivate and empower residents to engage with the programme of activities and ultimately to help them to become more independent
• Manage all first stage complaints, concerns and incidents in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Audit and maintain full and accurate records of activities using the relevant reports
• Understand and proactively adhere to all relevant industry regulatory framework
Essential requirements:
• Good IT skills including Microsoft packages
• Experience of working within a supported mental health environment
• Marketing and communications experience
