Administrator
We’re seeking a proactive and highly organised professional to provide administrative support that ensures the smooth and effective running of governance processes and leadership operations. You will play a pivotal role in coordinating meetings, managing records, and supporting senior leaders, enabling efficient decision making and strong operational management across the school.
Role information:
Contract type: Permanent (Full time, 38 weeks a year)
Salary: £22,703 per annum (£26,831 FTE)
Working hours: 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm)
Location: Wokingham
Start date: November 2025
Job responsibilities:
- Prepare agendas, collate papers, and maintain action trackers for Governing body and sub-committee meetings
- Organise meeting arrangements including rooms, catering, IT, and remote access
- Maintain accurate records of Governors, oversee induction processes, and coordinate training opportunities
- Provide administrative support to the Leadership Team, including safeguarding documentation minute meetings
- Assist with school events and facilitate and letting of school buildings
- Offer support in the school office once a week and provide cover where required
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience as an administrator at a senior level, with strong organisational and diary management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and confidence in managing records and databases
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and empathy with the Christian ethos of the school
