Administrator (HR – Safer Recruitment)

Venn Group is currently working alongside an Education Trust based in Surrey to recruit a Administrator (HR- Safer Recruiter) to join their fast-paced team.
Location: Surrey
Duration: Permanent
Salary: Up to £25K-£27K
Main Duties:
- Carry out the pre-employment checks such as, DBS checks, references, and Occupational Health checks)
- Keep records and files up to date
- Ensure that recruitment processes are carried out within appropriate time frames
- Maintain tidy files and make sure they are ready for inspection by the Head of Safeguarding, Director of HR, Core SLT and auditors
- Liaise with the wider HR Administration team sort and collect paperwork from the admin and Director of HR offices
- Ensure that new staff are inducted properly to the school
- Type offer letters and letters of rejection promptly as instructed
- Carry out routine admin tasks i.e. data input, production of spreadsheets, reports and forms and undertake project/research work as and when required
- Ensure that all vacancies are appropriately managed through advertising vacancies, sorting applications and short listing candidates
- Liaise with all relevant stake holders and negotiate with agency representatives under the direction of Core Leadership
- Ensure the Trust’s personnel records and HR data is held confidentially and securely
