Job description: An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within an established North West based Local Authority as a Locum Adult Social Care Solicitor. The client is looking for someone to start immediately on a  full-time, hybrid basis, with occasional travel to the office and courts. However, part-time, remote candidates will be considered. The role will be for an initial period of 3 months, with scope for extension. 

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Dealing with Court of Protection Welfare Applications

• Handling Ordinary Residence Disputes and Section 21A challenges

This role is suitable for a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister/CILEx 

Prior experience conducting advocacy would be advantageous 

Hourly rate: £55-60 per hour, via Umbrella
