Interim Application Manager
We are working with an organisation based in London who are looking for an Interim Application Manager to manage the end-to-end configuration of a new Service Management tool and act at the Technical Lead for the organisation.
Core deliverables of this post include:
- Configure and managing the development of the new Service Management tool
- Working on the implementation project for Service Management across the university, utilising the new Service Management Tool
- Capture appropriate business requirements and translate into configuration changes
- Mentor junior members of the applications team to develop their knowledge of Service Management and Application Management
- Oversee the onboarding process to ensure teams are utilising the new Service Management tool effectively
Required skills/experience includes:
- Strong understanding of Service Management (including ITIL would be advantageous)
- Must have previous experience in managing and configuring a Service Management Tool/ Service Management software
- Possess the technical know-how and knowledge to run and end to end Service Management tool implementation from software development to project management
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Software Development
- Experience with coaching and mentoring members of staff in the onboarding process for the user acceptance of a new system/ tool
- Good experience of requirement gathering and project management
Location: London (Hybrid 2 – 3 days on site)
Day rate: £400 - £500 (outside IR35)
