Interim Area Estates Manager
Location: London, hybrid 2 days on site
Length: 3 months (Possibility of extension)
IR35 Status: Inside
Qualification: Chartered
This role will lead, plan, develop and deliver an expert professional service within the Estates Management service undertaking the management of the Council’s non-residential properties including lease renewals, rent reviews, rent collection and debt recovery together with the annual programme of asset valuations required by statute.
Key Responsibilities and experience of the interim Area Estates Manager:
- Substantial post qualification experience of undertaking similar work in a similar sized complex organisation delivering all aspects of Estates and Property Management
- Experience of establishing holistic plans for property management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse stakeholders
- High level of commercial awareness
- Knowledge and experience of regulatory guidelines and statutory compliance requirements relating to estates management within a large public sector organisation
