Assistant Director – Adult Social Care
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Negotiable daily rate (Umbrella, Inside IR35)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Duration: 3 months initially (likely to extend)
Location: West Midlands
An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated and experienced professional to join our client as an Assistant Director for Adult Social Care. This is a 3-month role, contributing to the ambitious vision of a thriving, optimistic, and resilient community by 2030.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Operational Adult Social Care, managing programs, policies, and services that promote independence, encourage choice, and support vulnerable individuals
- Lead operational management of Therapy, Hospital, Mental Health, Social Work Therapy, and Safeguarding teams
- Hold senior management responsibility for the Integrated Hub/Reablement, LPS, and CQC inspections
- Deliver effective leadership, build stakeholder relationships, and cultivate a strategically aligned, values-based organisational culture
- Ensure high-quality outcomes in line with the organisation’s vision and goals
Qualifications and Experience:
- Final professional qualification(s) in a relevant discipline related to the service areas/functions or significant working experience in the services relevant to this post
- Demonstrated evidence of management competencies
- Enhanced Adults DBS and Social Work England qualification required
