We’re currently working with a London based University who are world renown within their field. They are recruiting a Junior Financial Accountant to join the team who will be responsible for the management, administration and reconciliation of key balance sheet control accounts, with a focus on payroll related balances.
Job responsibilities include:
- Prepare payroll related and other key balance sheet reconciliations
- Reconciliation and follow up of control accounts, particularly payroll accounts
- Provide financial accounting support to the University’s new subsidiary
- Prepare accruals, prepayments and other adjustments
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Responding to relevant requests from the external/internal auditors
The successful candidate MUST:
- Be at least part qualified with a recognised Accounting Body (CIMA, ICAEW, ACCA, CIPFA or equivalent) or fully AAT qualified
- Have experience with payroll and balance sheet reconciliations
- Have a good understanding of debit and credit
- Be an excellent communicator
Annual salary: £35,000 - £43,000
Length: 10 months
