Job Opportunity – HR Advisor
Venn Group are currently working on a position with a highly regarded healthcare organisation, based in Norfolk, to source an HR Advisor for the following assignment:

Contract: 12 months
Rate: £15.58 per hour + holiday pay
Hours: 37.5 per week
Your duties will include:
- Supporting the HRBPs on the interpretation and application of the HR policies and procedures, terms and conditions of service and employment law
- Monitoring changes in national employment policies and employment legislation, preparing briefings and ensuring that the HR Business partners are effectively updated
- Acting as main point of call for general advice on queries over a range of HR issues, for example annual leave calculations, flexible working requests, maternity / paternity leave etc.
- Providing consistent advice and guidance to managers using defined levels of expertise and knowledge, in dealing with HR matters, including attendance, capability / performance, disciplinary and resourcing issues
- Taking a practicing role in advising on reducing absence within the Divisions to help achieve targets, analysing reports, attending management meetings and giving advice to managers to address the issues including taking part in individual meetings with managers/members of staff to appropriate levels as defined
- Supporting in the provision of an effective employee relations casework management process, including disciplinary, grievance, bullying and harassment and performance
- Monitoring changes in employment legislation, national employment policies and procedures and preparing briefings and ensuring that the HR Business Partners are effectively updated
The successful candidate should have:
- An ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- Skilled in writing reports, correspondence, and human resources processes/policies and guidance
- Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise work
- Excellent HR administration skills with experience of managing, reviewing and updating processes throughout all stages of the employment lifecycle
