Assistant Pay Services Manager
Duration: Fixed Term Contract for 12 Months
Location: Nottingham, NG5
Hours: Monday – Friday, Flexible start and finish times, 37.5 hours
Salary: £25,655 per annum
An opening has arisen for a Assistant Pay Services Manager in a public sector environment. Candidates must come from a payroll background.
The successful candidate have experience in a similar position and be responsible for:
- Managing an admin team of 5- addressing performance issues, ensuring accuracy of work, monitor sickness and absence
- Ensure that payroll policies and procedures are implemented
- Responsible for ensuring the delivery of the monthly payroll in accordance with agreed timetable
- Ensuring obligations under PAYE, NI and Pensions are met
- Oversee the administration of pay schemes such as the Lease Car Schemes
- Take a lead role/ participate in specific Pay Services projects and service improvements initiatives
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a supervisory role
- A very good level of Microsoft Excel
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English, at grade C or above
- Educated to degree level or equivalent Payroll experience
- Minimum 3 years of Payroll experience
