Job description: A well-established public sector organisation in North Yorkshire is currently recruiting for an Assistant People Advisor to join their team on an interim basis for 9 months initially. This is a hybrid role with requirement to be on site a minimum of two days per week.
This is an exciting opportunity where the successful candidate will be able to add-value in a transformative and worthwhile organisation.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Provide effective professional HR advice and influence Managers throughout all HR activities
- Advise on appropriate level ER cases
- Attend formal meetings as required
- Contribute to the development of appropriate HR policies and procedures
- Issue routine correspondence in the form of letters, memos and emails
- Oversee the administration of employment contracts
- Monitor and address queries as appropriate with Managers and Administrators
- Provide support on projects when required
- Participate in the recruitment and selection process
- Liaise with People Services Administrators
- Perform other duties deemed suitable by the HR Director
It is essential that candidates applying for this role have previous experience in HR at a similar level and it is desirable that selected candidates are CIPD qualified.
