Location: Bath (hybrid)

Hours: 30 (Mon-Fri)
Rate: £286- £341 per day via Umbrella (dependant on experience)

Venn Group’s HR recruitment team are recruiting an interim work an interim Associate Director of HR on behalf of our NHS client based in the South-West. As a senior HR professional you will be leading the delivery of the strategy and performance framework for the HR Operations, ensuring the performance against key indicators are met on a regular and consistent basis.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the HRBP team with a focus on shifting the culture from retributive to restorative in the context of Just and Learning
- Drive a culture of improvement, innovation and change through the skills of the team.
- Provide effective and timely guidance and advice to senior teams on employment terms and conditions, policies and procedures and employment law matters, ensuring a consistent approach Trust wide
- Responsible for managing any settlement conversations, redundancy processes and tribunal proceedings from within the designated Business Unit and/or Corporate Directorate
- Provide line management and professional support to the Medical Staffing Manager and team for the achievement of professional guidance and advice in all aspects of the medical and dental workforce
- Ensure, through the HR Business Partners and team, high quality case work (MHPS; and other employment focused case work)
- Working with the Trust Lead for Recruitment ensure a high quality customer focused professional recruitment service
- Oversee development of the service to ensure it is responsive to organisational need and able to supply staff, thereby reducing use of agency staff
- Lead on the development and implementation strategy for all aspects of HR operational excellence based on the Trust and People strategies, vision and priorities
- Provide strategic advice to the (Deputy) Director for People on the best course of action to support key strategic goals and operations
Essential Skills:
- HR knowledge in range of areas including e-roster, recruitment, temporary staffing, medical staffing
- Previous senior experience held in a similar capacity
- Workforce and NHS experience is advantageous
