Our client, an established NHS Trust are looking for a dynamic and well-experienced recruitment professional to join their friendly team. A successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of effective resourcing strategies that support the workforce transformation plans for the organisation and enable end-to-end recruitment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the Trusts’ end to end recruitment function, ensuring an effective resourcing service to the organisation offering proactive, professional and customer focused support
- Interpret national policy and translate this locally providing specialist advice to the Director and Deputy Director for People and OD and other members of the People & OD SMT
- Provide support to the Director and Deputy Director for People and OD as required and act as a senior advisor on all medical resourcing and medical workforce related matters
- Ensure that comprehensive information about the medical workforce is accessible, accurate and responds to service, legal and external requirements
- Supply and analyse information regarding resourcing issues taking account of the regional and national context, developing and delivering local responses
- Ensure that HR colleagues are educated, informed and involved in workforce resourcing strategy/ development projects and work streams as appropriate
- Provide transformational leadership by facilitating all specialities in their portfolio to follow the Trust People and OD Strategy and NHS People Plan specific to recruitment and resourcing and in turn deliver structural empowerment
- Provide strategic oversight of the management of all workers on the bank, providing guidance and expertise as necessary to the Head of Temporary Staffing and E – Roster Services
- Support the delivery of Divisional workforce plans aligned to the Trust 5 year workforce plan with emphasis on succession planning and meeting model employer targets / aspirations across all staff groups
Essential skills:
- Previous senior experience held in a similar capacity
- Extensive experience of working in fast paced, customer facing environments
Desirable skills:
- Previous NHS experience
