Attendance Administrator

Rate: £12.50 PAYE Inc. Holiday Pay or £15 via an umbrella company
Venn Group is currently assisting a School who are looking for an Administrator to join their attendance team on a temporary basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Take phone calls and pick up messages from parents regarding student absence
- Set late detentions and send letters and texts home in relation to lateness to school
- Update SIMS registers and add comments where a reason for absence is given
- Input late gate marks and add comments in SIMS
- Check registers for absentees and make first day response calls or send texts, ensuring records of all telephone calls to parents are kept
- Check attendance of students at Alternative Provision
- Record students signing in and out of school for appointments etc
- Successful candidate:
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask and prioritise workload
- Competent user to MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confident communicator, both verbal & written
- Previous administration experience
