Band 8a Finance Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Band 8a Finance Manager to join and NHS organisation in the East Midlands on a temporary basis. This role will be working remotely and will be for a period of 4 months initially. The successful candidate will hold an accountancy qualification and will be confident in leading in the production of the year end accounts within an NHS organisation. Some of the duties will include but are not limited to: 

• Management of finance staff
• Develop and lead year end accounts
• Develop and maintain an annual financial timetable 
• Lead the monthly reporting process and corporate finance reporting
• Ensure that relevant recommendation from Internal and External Audit are acted upon promptly and reported on appropriately
• Oversee forecasting and variance analysis for budgets
• Provide technical expertise and advice on completion of the templates required by external bodies 
  
  
• Please note that it is ESSENTIAL that you have NHS experience
• Previous CCG experience is highly advantageous for this role
