We are looking to recruit a payments professional with managerial experience for an international bank based in London.
The position will be responsible for the payments department and the candidate will be required to provide training, professional development and support for several direct reports. The role might also require the candidate to assist with the customer services department and provide managerial cover.
The ideal candidate will have worked in operations for a financial institution and be able to deliver on 3 main duties - review and remediation of current workflows for payment transitions; identification of new technologies and market-driven initiatives to support payment processing; and FCA/PRA compliance. Having an in-depth understanding of payment processes and best practices will be advantageous.
The role will require: the monitoring and management of credit limits; ensuring payments are processed in line with the banks’ SLA; production of weekly and monthly reports for senior management; authorising transactions via the system T24; conducting process mapping and process enhancements.
The role also requires sufficient knowledge and experience working with IT systems and SWIFT.
