Venn Group have been approached by a local housing associations to recruit an experienced Project Surveyor to play a key role in delivering high-quality asset services across their property portfolio. Day to Day Duties:

Lead planned and reactive maintenance projects ensuring legislative compliance and value for money

Monitor contractor performance, ensuring service standards and customer satisfaction targets are met

Identify trends across repairs and maintenance data to inform strategic investment and replacement programmes

Own a specialist portfolio aligned to your expertise, which may include:

Disrepair
-
Stock Condition Surveys
-
Commercial Premises
-
Energy Performance & Sustainability
-
Adaptations
-
Asset Performance Data
-
-
Develop and deliver effective asset investment and maintenance programmes
-
Conduct site inspections, feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports and proposals
-
Monitor project budgets and support financial planning
-
Liaise with residents, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure customer-focused delivery

Support the preparation of contract documentation including specifications and tenders
-
Contribute to quality assurance systems and maintain accurate records and asset data
-
Carry out risk assessments, disrepair inspections, and health & safety evaluations
-

The Successful Candidate wil have:
Essential:
-
HND in Building Studies (or equivalent)
-
Extensive experience in surveying, maintenance, and construction project delivery

Strong communication and customer service skills
-
Excellent reporting, prioritisation, and influencing abilities
-
A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable:
-
Membership of RICS, CIOB, or similar
-
Knowledge of CAD systems
-
Experience managing NEC contracts and energy assessments
-
Skilled in kitchen/bathroom condition surveys and lifecycle costing
