Capital Accountant

Capital Accountant Vacancy Available

Rate: £47,810 - £54,710 per annum (Pro Rata)

Venn Group are currently working with a public sector organisation based in Leeds who are seeking a Capital Accountant to start at short notice on a 6-month fixed term contract. The contract will be hybrid with an expectancy to on-site 3 days per week.

Main duties of the job:

• Helping with the Fixed Asset Register in terms of data cleansing exercise, asset verification, disposal of assets, reconciliations to the General Ledger and any other ad-hoc task relevant to the role
• Maintaining up to date procedure notes on all asset register related processes
• Acting as a senior member of the Capital Finance team and assisting in the development and delivery of a comprehensive capital accounting service
• Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance
