Capital Project Manager required for an immediate start
Location: Home based – 2 day on site per week (Norfolk)
Length: 3 months, temporary ongoing
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Mon – Fri
Main responsibilities of the role:
- Overseeing a variety of projects from conception to completion ensuring minimal disruption to staff and service users
- Projects will include a range of demolition works, building refurbishments and other complex building works
- Ensuring that all projects produce the required outcomes, to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost
- Developing and implementing plans for project delivery, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary to take any changes into account
- Responsible for day-to-day decisions relating to the management of the project including resources and skills required, implementation of project controls, making recommendations on changes to the specifications, budgets and schedules to the Project Sponsor
- Overseeing works carried out by contractors and ensuring works are being completed within the correct time schedule and budget
- Liaising regularly with stakeholders and attending progress meetings
Essential requirements:
- Experience working within a similar position previously, ideally within a healthcare/NHS organisation
- Strong understanding and management of KPIs and SLAs
