Change Manager (Business Change Workstream)
Rate: £450–£500 per day (Outside IR35)
Duration: Until June 2026
Working Arrangements: Hybrid
This role is a key part of the Business Change Workstream and will play a vital role in preparing services, systems and people for new ways of working across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Change Impact Assessments across Finance, HR, Payroll and Procurement, ensuring directorates understand the implications of upcoming changes
- Work closely with Business Analysts and Process Owners to identify, shape and land change activity
- Develop effective stakeholder analysis, communication plans and engagement strategies
- Lead on business readiness and cultural change initiatives to support the transition to the new Target Operating Model
- Support the creation and management of a change network to embed new behaviours and practice
- Input into process design workshops and ensure service areas are supported post–go live with sustainable change
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in Public Sector change programmes, ideally within Local Government
- Experience delivering change across Finance and Procurement, with knowledge of SAP highly desirable
- Proven ability to work at pace within complex environments
- Strong communication and engagement skills with experience supporting organisation-wide transformation
