Venn Group's specialist legal team is currently working with an established Local authorityin the Home Counties who are recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to join their department.
This is a full-time childcare position offering up to £50 per day depending on experience. The role is offered for an initial period of 3 months with the possibility of an extension. This is a hybrid position with an average of two days in the office per week.

Our client is looking for a skilled childcare lawyer toprovide experience skill and advice to Members, Officers and Partners on legal matters, policies, and corporate issues, ensuring the Council's best interests are achieved within the law

To ensure the timely delivery of effective legal services to the Council and its partners with maximum efficiency and economy.

To undertake day to day conduct of childcare legal work which is allocated to you by your line manager and described in any Task Profile issued to you for that work type.

To deliver a caseload of childcare matters which have been allocated by the Principal Lawyer / Team Leader or the line manager and to proactively report to customers on the progress of that work.

To partake in advocacy in any Court or Tribunal as required
