Venn Group’s specialist Legal team has partnered with a South West Local Authority who are recruiting for a Childcare Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit a qualified solicitor with experience of managing a team who is looking to take the next step in their career.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Managing and developing a team of solicitors and legal assistants
- Carrying out appraisals, one to one’s and motivational meetings
- Setting, monitoring and collating targets and KPIs
- To support, mentor and monitor junior staff
- Providing expert legal advice on childcare matters
- Managing a small caseload of childcare cases
- Advising on complex legal matters including reports and internal and external audits
- Liaising with senior stakeholders and interested parties
The successful candidate will be required to attend the office for a minimum of three days per week. An attractive annual salary of £50,000 is offered for this role.
