CIN/CP Social Worker -Safeguarding
Rate: Competitive, negotiable hourly rates available
Working Pattern: Hybrid basis -West Midlands
Hours: Full time (37hrs per week) -Please do still apply if you are seeking part-time hours
Duration: 6 months (likely extensions)
Start: ASAP
Responsibilities
- Engage with children, carers and families to clearly understand their circumstances, wishes and feelings
- Form conclusions to enable direct longer term interventions focused on the best interests of the child
- Assist team management in deciding how to proceed with which cases to proceed & step down
- 15 case load cap
Requirements
- Full Enhanced DBS
- Driving Licence - Travel within the borough will be required
- A degree in Social Work & Social Work England registration
- The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ experience working in Children's Services
