Civil Litigation Lawyer (ASB) – Greater London - £45-50 umbrella - Hybrid working
Job Title: Civil Litigation Lawyer in Anti-Social Behaviour
Location: Greater London
Working Pattern: Hybrid on an ad-hoc basis but mostly remote
Rate: £45-50 per hour umbrella
Venn Groups specialist legal recruitment team are in partnership with a London based Local Authority to recruit a Civil Litigation Lawyer focusing on Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) and provide specialist legal advice to a forward thinking and inclusive legal team
This role is offered on a basis of at least 3 months with the contract extending on a rolling basis thereafter and so offers the right candidate a perfect opportunity to expand their legal expertise by specialising in a specific area
The ideal candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive (FCILEX) with recent post qualification experience of working in Civil Litigation ideally within the public sector with at least 5 years post-qualification experience and a good understanding of Anti-Social Behaviour legislation
Job Description:
- Offer legal guidance and support to clients on anti-social behaviour issues, including advice on relevant laws and regulations.
- Represent clients' interests in court proceedings and tribunals, ensuring the Council's position is effectively advocated.
- Stay updated on changes in legislation, case law, and best practices in anti-social behaviour civil litigation to provide accurate and informed advice.
- Handle complex casework efficiently and effectively, ensuring clients receive comprehensive legal support.
- Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines in all aspects of legal practice, maintaining integrity and trustworthiness.
The role of Civil Litigation Lawyer in Anti Social Behaviour comes with an hourly rate between £45 and £50 per hour (Umbrella) and gives the right candidate an opportunity to add another bow to their legal string. Local Government experience is preferable but not essential provided there is significant relevant Civil Litigation law experience.
