Venn Group has been approached by a school in Leeds to recruit for a Caretaker / Assistant Facilities Officer on a part-time ongoing basis 

This role involves ensuring the school is clean, secure, and well-maintained. You will be responsible for general cleaning duties at the start of each shift and ensuring the school is safely locked up at the end of the day.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out cleaning duties in classrooms, assembly halls, corridors, and other communal areas during the first three hours of each shift
• Ensure all areas are tidy, hygienic, and safe for students and staff
• Monitor cleaning supplies and report any shortages
• Secure the premises at the end of the shift, ensuring all doors and windows are locked and alarms are set

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or cleaning role
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for maintaining a safe and clean environment
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• DBS Certificate 

Working hours: 20 hours per week
