CDD Onboarding/Remediation Officer - Capital Markets

Venn Group are currently hiring a CDD Onboarding/Remediation Officer on an initial 9 month fixed term contract for a dynamic, fast paced, market leading Financial Services firm. It is essential applicants have experience working in a CDD related role within Capital Markets and have an understanding of their associated client entity types.

This hybrid role (3 days in office, City based) position will be involved initially with a remediation project to help support the client onboarding team with refresh for various entities such as Corporations, Financial Institutions, and SPV’s.

The responsibilities of this role include actively sourcing information needed during the client on-boarding process. Proactively identifying and escalating high-risk clients for further Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) to be assessed by the compliance team and any other Ad Hoc duties needed within the KYC and CDD area.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience focused with CDD
• Past exposure working with large corporation who cover Capital Markets
• Knowledge of Financial markets rules (JMLSG) and regulations such as MIFID II/EMIR
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and stakeholder management
• Genuine passion and eagerness develop a career within Financial Markets

Our client is seeking well organized, focused and commercially minded individuals with a high attention to detail. Candidates should be a team player and must be able to liaise with the compliance and front-office teams coordinating together on the client remediation process and making updates when necessary. There is scope for this role to convert from FTC to perm.
