Collateral Management Operations Analyst
Location: London, UK
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily collateral activities including margin calls, collateral transfers, and reconciliations.
- Monitor and analyse collateral positions to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Work closely with traders, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to resolve collateral disputes and discrepancies.
- Perform collateral optimization and efficiency analysis to minimize costs and maximize utilization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and third-party service providers.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements to streamline collateral management operations.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in collateral management.
- Provide support for ad-hoc projects and initiatives related to collateral management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in collateral management or related operations within the banking industry.
- Strong understanding of financial products, derivatives, and margin requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and collateral management systems (e.g., Murex, Calypso).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
