Our client, an established law firm based in Somerset, are seeking to appoint a driven and resourceful Commercial Property Solicitor to join their team on a permanent basis from March 2023. This will be a Head of Department/Partner level role with option to become an equity Partner and will require someone seeking an exciting challenge.
The firm are highly regarded in the Somerset and Wiltshire areas; where they have been serving the local community for over 200 years. The established firm have built their reputation on professionalism and dedication to providing a high level of service to clients.
Areas of expertise include business and commercial, commercial property (including landlord and tenant), wills and inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney, trusts, divorce, family matters, dispute resolution (including mediation) and residential conveyancing.
The successful candidate will be joining at partner level, you will be working closely with the team, involved at a strategic level, liaise with the senior Board and operate as the Head of Department. You will handle a varied caseload of commercial property matters and associated transactions while helping to lead and expand a small yet growing department. You will have the opportunity to maintain long-term client connections, alongside undertaking business development opportunities to establish new clients.
The opportunity would suit someone either already operating at Head of Department level, or someone who is perhaps currently a Senior Associate looking for their next step.
