Our client, a well-established and highly respected legal 500 practice, is seeking an ambitious Commercial Property Solicitor who is ready to take the next step in their career. The Role
- Reviewing and reporting on registered freehold and leasehold titles for clients and lenders
- Handling unregistered land matters, including reviewing or preparing epitomes of title and conducting land charges searches
- Requesting and carrying out initial analysis of property searches
- Preparing and reviewing responses to CPSE enquiries for a range of transactions
- Raising and addressing further enquiries in relation to title, searches and general due-diligence issues
- Producing clear title, search and documentation reports for clients
- Providing property input on corporate transactions
- Preparing for and managing the completion process
- Undertaking post-completion formalities and checking completion statements
- Drafting commercial leases, contracts, agreements for lease and rent deposit deeds
- Managing straightforward freehold acquisitions and disposals
- Assisting with other commercial property matters such as secured lending, easements, licences, lease surrenders and development work
About You
- A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 1–2 years’ PQE
- Highly organised with strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable managing your own workload under supervision while contributing effectively to a team
- Commercially aware and proactive in identifying practical solutions
- Confident using Microsoft Office and legal case-management software
- Keen to build strong client relationships and play a part in the ongoing success of the wider team
