Commercial Systems and Performance Manager Required
Rate: £475 per day (Umbrella). £413.04 per day (PAYE)
Location: Work From Home
Duration: 3 months permanent contract
An opening has arisen for a Commercial Systems and Performance Manager to work for one of the biggest internationally recognized telecommunications companies.
Day to day duties include:
- To report to the Head of NEC4 Contracts and Civils Engineering
- Responsible for overseeing the delivery of commercial systems and performance management across the Lightning and Morpheus Programmes, in order to drive value for money, together with minimising delivery, performance and commercial risks
- Support delivery of the policy on all commercial systems across the Lightning and Morpheus Programmes
- Integral support on CEMAR system aligned with NEC4 Contracts, management of Contract relationship with think project specifically
- A solid understanding of NEC4, ECC and TSC Contract Modules, including the preparation of Contract Datas and specifically knowledge of Core Clauses under these modules
- Awareness of CEMAR system general operations and preferably experience
- Working with the Commercial Teams and being responsible for the delivery and maintenance of Supplier Performance Management framework/reporting
- Responsible for driving consistency and quality of all Lightning/Morpheus Contractor Partners performance, reporting across the 5 CPIs and contributory SLAs
Required Skills:
- Telecoms/Engineering background ideal
- Senior Commercial Manager with 3-5 years direct construction commercial experience
- Understanding and experience of working with NEC3/4 Engineering Constructions Contract (ECC) and Terms Service Contract (TSC) Projects
- An understanding and experience of working with CEMAR system aligned with NEC4 Contracts
- Proven track record of management of Contractor Early Warning (EW) and Compensation Event (CE) processes
- Experienced in understanding Health and Safety requirements in Construction
- Understanding of management and mitigation of commercial risks
- Experience of management of construction BoM
- Experience of use of contract and cost management and estimating tools
- Experience of Cost Management
- Ability to manage opex and capex budgets
Required Qualifications:
- Engineering or Commercial degree preferred
- Non degree holders should have a record of success with experience in similar roles
- Professional qualification and/or membership of the ICE, RICS and/or CIOB would be an advantage
- APMP (desirable)
- P6 (desirable) and CEMAR (essential) experience
