Interim Commissioning Manager - Children's Social Care

A brilliant opportunity for an interim Commissioning Manager for Children's Social Care has arisen with one of our outstanding clients and we are looking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the position on behalf of the Council.
Role responsibilities of the Interim Commissioning Manager - Children's Social Care include:
- Drive and lead the development of a well evidenced commissioning sufficiency strategy
- Work collaboratively within the organisation and support and provide expert advice to operational stakeholders in social care
- Develop the fostering service, specifically children with complex needs and initiatives on how the Council can better support foster carers
- Conduct quality assurance of providers as well as market development, including creating briefs and training programmes
- Develop in-house residential services and improve communications within commissioning
The Interim Commissioning Manager - Children's Social Care will have:
- Previous experience of working within a local government organisation
- Experience in children’s social care commissioning and developing sufficiency strategies
- Superb oral and written communication skills and outstanding organisation and time management
