Interim Commissioning Manager (ICES Lead)
Based in South East London, hybrid working
Length: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)

The Commissioning Manager will play a lead role in the end-to-end strategic delivery of integrated commissioning, transformation and service improvement activity programmes across the local authority and the ICB – focusing specifically on Integrated Community Equipment.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Commissioning Manager:
- Planning, supporting and delivering commissioning projects, leading the delivery of high quality health and social care services applying performance and contract management
- Analysing a broad spectrum of information from a variety of sources to inform assessment of needs in social care and health services and to map the provision of services
- Producing written briefings and Committee Reports under the direction of the Head of Service and contribute to written reports and help inform plans being developed
- Co-ordinating the involvement of stakeholders, carers, and clients with the development of commissioning strategies specifically to the Integrated Community Equipment Service
- Co-ordinating, facilitating and supporting Equipment Prescriber access to the Integrated Equipment Service
- Leading and Project Managing any new commissioning arrangements, using Project Management tools and ensuring the effective completion of projects
Skills, experience and knowledge required of the Interim Commissioning Manager:
- Demonstrable experience and success Commissioning Services at this level
- Experience of dealing with contracts within Integrated Community Equipment
- Able to work at pace and juggle multiple priorities
