Venn Group are supporting the Public Health Commissioning team of a London Local Authority recruit to a number of interim positions
Commissioning Officer (PO4) – Substance Misuse
Based: South London (hybrid, part time)
Contract: 4 months
Key Responsibilities, experience and skills required;
- Manage, oversee and run substance misuse related contracts or similar complex contracts
- Work with and manage relationships with current providers
- Assist in leading contract review meetings for the council
- Previous experience of commissioning services for substance misuse users
- Experience and understanding of the full commissioning cycle
- Experience and understanding of NDTMS and the role of OHID
- Bring a background in criminal justice to improve the continuity of care performance of the Borough
Commissioning Officer (PO3) – Substance Misuse
Based: South London (hybrid)
Contract: 3 months initially
Key Responsibilities, experience and skills required;
- Support the commissioning cycle and liaise with service providers
- Supporting utilisation of the Supplementary Substance Misuse Treatment and Recovery Grant
- Undertake market management and engagement exercises
- Able to collate, analyse, interpret and present data and statistics for decision making
- Ensure that PO’s and invoices are sent out and correct
- Understanding and experience of the full commissioning cycle
- Public health commissioning experience
Commissioning Officer (PO3) – Rough Sleepers
Based: South London (hybrid)
Contract: 3 months initially
Key Responsibilities, experience and skills required;
- Support the commissioning cycle and liaise with service providers
- Utilising the Substance misuse treatment and recovery grant
- Understanding and experience of the full commissioning cycle
- Bring Adults / Public health commissioning experience
- Able to collate, analyse, interpret and present data and statistics on all aspects of the substance misuse contract
- Undertake market management and engagement exercises
- Supporting utilisation of the Supplementary Substance Misuse Treatment and Recovery Grant for the Rough sleepers programme
