Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an experienced Communications Design Engineer to undertake a long term contract.
In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:
- Creating and maintaining technical procedures and documentation
- Experience with Military communications networks (WAN and LAN
- Software and hardware architecture design
- SC Cleared
Within this role, you will be responsible for
- The production of technical information in support of all Mission System projects and new business opportunities across the Systems Engineering (SE) lifecycle
- Ensuring quality of allocated engineering deliverables
- Undertaking SE activities; System concepts, System capability issues, Enterprise and technology environment
- Determining and managing stakeholder requirements
- Architectural design
- Concept generation
- Design for attributes, such as safety, security, ARM, etc.
- Functional analysis
- Interface management
- Maintain design integrity
- Modelling and simulation
- Preferred solution selection
- Systems integration, verification, and validation
- Liaising with customer and supplier representatives in the elicitation and acceptance of user and system requirements
- Managing requirements and their acceptance throughout the lifecycle
- Managing and creating interface specifications and certificates
- Producing boundary diagrams and identifying responsibility ownership
- Specifying technical requirements as part of procurement activities
- Maintaining technical documentation for systems and / or projects as applicable
