Our client, a global organisation, urgently require an experienced Communications Design Engineer to undertake a long term contract.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Creating and maintaining technical procedures and documentation
• Experience with Military communications networks (WAN and LAN
• Software and hardware architecture design
• SC Cleared

Within this role, you will be responsible for

• The production of technical information in support of all Mission System projects and new business opportunities across the Systems Engineering (SE) lifecycle
• Ensuring quality of allocated engineering deliverables
• Undertaking SE activities; System concepts, System capability issues, Enterprise and technology environment
• Determining and managing stakeholder requirements
• Architectural design
• Concept generation
• Design for attributes, such as safety, security, ARM, etc.
• Functional analysis
• Interface management
• Maintain design integrity
• Modelling and simulation
• Preferred solution selection
• Systems integration, verification, and validation
• Liaising with customer and supplier representatives in the elicitation and acceptance of user and system requirements
• Managing requirements and their acceptance throughout the lifecycle
• Managing and creating interface specifications and certificates
• Producing boundary diagrams and identifying responsibility ownership
• Specifying technical requirements as part of procurement activities
• Maintaining technical documentation for systems and / or projects as applicable
