Community Safety Coordinator

A reputable local authority in Hertfordshire are keen to recruit a Community Safety Coordinator on a permanent basis.
Location: Hertfordshire
Duration: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week
Salary: £30-35k per annum
Main responsibilities:
- Monitor community safety baseline data that can be tracked on a quarterly basis to identify trends within stock and enable the housing association to provide targeted
- Act as a key liaison for the Police, Fire Brigade and other stakeholders involved in Community Safety activity across stock including co-ordination via the CPG
- Action CCTV requests from external stakeholders in line with CCTV Policy and GDPR (2018)
- Using the Power Bi Reporting system to undertake audits of ASB and Safeguarding cases in CAS
- Complete Monthly Housing Operations KPI Scorecard for all Community Safety KPI’s
- Train Housing Operation staff in CAS reporting and the processes around reporting, Safeguarding and Housing Management
- Co-ordinate with Senior Compliance Manager to utilise the GIS to understand trends and implement relevant community safety initiatives
- Coordinating and promoting ASB and Safeguarding initiatives within the organisation, to customers and with external partners that positively impact on the sustainability, diversity and cohesiveness of communities and enable customers to enjoy the experience of living in their existing homes
- Supporting the Communities and Customer Engagement Manager to identify new partnership opportunities for the benefit of our customer’s and communities
- Setting key annual objectives for the Housing Project Officer and ensuring all project plans are adequately completed in line with the expectations of the Housing Team
Essential criteria:
- Use of a car, a valid driving licence and insurance for business purposes
- If successful in this role you will be requires to hold a Satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service Check
- Ability to respond to emergencies outside normal working hours as required
- Experience managing anti-social behaviour and safeguarding within a Housing setting
