Estates Compliance Officer needed – Black Country – Permanent – £37,000 to £44,000 dependant on experience
Venn Group is currently recruiting for an Estates Compliance Officer for a large organisation based in the Black Country area. The hours will be 37.5 per week.
The role will involve:
- The post holder has responsibility to manage compliance service for the organisation’s properties and assets monitoring KPI’s and SLA’s and escalating performance issues or compensation events to the Directorship
- Lead on the development of the compliance schedule for all Organisation properties, assets and services
- Lead on the effective management of statutory compliance. Ensuring all regulatory and legislative responsibilities for gas, electrical, fire safety, legionella and other associated mechanical and electrical services
- To develop and produce regular assurance reports for senior managers covering all areas of performance, processes, procedures and statutory compliance responsibilities
- Support with the engagement and performance management of external contractors (e.g. checking of risk assessments, method statement, accreditations & auditing of work completion to specification
- Support estates in effective planning and scheduling of essential maintenance and checks (e.g. Electrical testing, gas safety certification, asbestos surveys, legionella risk assessment etc.)
- Support the integration of data from the compliance systems through to the CAFM system
- Ensure all compliance evidence is up to date and where necessary, liaise with key stakeholders to obtain missing documentation
- Complete audits on compliance documentation and report back any areas of concern to Team Leader
