A position has arisen to join a leading telecommunications company as a Connectivity Integration Engineer. The successful candidate will be the Technical Lead for projects within the Planning and Engineering department.
Duties will include:

Facilitate detailed technical planning sessions with all Planning & Engineering stakeholders

Cross functional management of technical deliverables to Time, Cost and Quality, helping to identify relevant technical ownership and accountability.

Provide “Architecture Steer” in support of the IA / IIA process managed by PMO to ensure full engagement and ability to carry out meaningful Impact Assessment

Document all known Risks, Issues and Opportunities and produce plan to mitigate these items with clear owners

Support with Technical Analysis across Planning & Engineering functions including Engineering and BAU teams

Remain with project as Technical support for the lifecycle of the project

Impact Assess and plan for BAU rollouts across the network to plan for Risks, Issues and Opportunities

Identify and “translate” key P&E technical deliverables to ensure each is fit for purpose (i.e. CDP (HLD), DDP (LLD) are required)

Engaging key stakeholders outside of P&E (DCE) to clarify and facilitate technical requirements delivery
Specific Knowledge & Experience:
-
Core IP Subject matter Expert on Cisco and Juniper platforms

8+ years experience in Technical delivery management or program management
-
5+ years experience in Agile methodology

Demonstrable System Integration / Technical Project Management experience across a number of technical Network and IT projects

Experience in and knowledge of the telecommunications landscape, together with experience of the end-to-end product lifecycle, in addition to technical delivery

Certification from a recognised professional body e.g. APM, PMI, IPMA
