Content Editor
Duration: 3 months
Location: Remote/London
Clearance Required: Basic DBS/BPSS
A Central Government department is seeking a Content Editor to help them produce and manage content for a range of their channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, write copy and use content management to create visually appealing content on the website
- Organise, monitor and publish photography on their online image library
- Ensure the website is constantly live, taking care to ensure that pages are live and identifying glitches
- Write copy for reports, guides and prospectuses as required by the business
- Source content, write and build the organisation’s newsletters
- Manage day-to-day relationship with the website supplier
- Manage day-to-day relationship with external photographers, designers and writers – providing guidance and feedback on visual and verbal content
- Support the wider Digital, Marketing and Communications team, such as the marketing department, to support day to day business objectives
Key Requirements:
- Proven track record of working on websites to create, refine and publish content
- Ability to write clear, concise briefs to a range of stakeholders, including copywriters and designers
- Proven use of online publishing and content management systems
- Demonstrable experience of planning and scheduling content across multiple platforms
- Ability to juggle multiple demands from across the business, identifying priorities accordingly
