Length: 3 months initially with possibility of extension

We are working with a Local Authority ALMO, who are looking for two Content Marketing Officers who will make a significant contribution to the development and delivery of our sector marketing plans and goals. It will lead in creating compelling content that engage our target audiences, utilising a variety of marketing channels, as well as working as part of the wider team to achieve our overarching marketing and communications objectives.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Content Marketing Officer:
- Working closely with the Sector Marketing Manager to produce campaign and content marketing plans, as well as campaign forecasts
- Responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive and timely campaigns that drive commercial delivery goals, whilst providing sound decision making. Delivery of digital marketing campaigns for customer acquisition, retention, and reactivation strategies, covering all channels to market
- Contribute to the development and delivery of a content marketing plan to optimise digital marketing campaigns that drive conversion and retention - ensuring content fits within brand guidelines and is appealing to the target audience
- Manage both internal and external stakeholders across the organisation
Experience and knowledge required of the Interim Content Marketing Officer:
- Educated to Certificate (Level 4) in Professional Marketing / Professional Digital Marketing or equivalent relevant demonstrable experience
- Strong understanding of content marketing techniques and practices
- Understanding of the entire marketing mix in a multichannel environment
- Ability to advise on a wide range of marketing related activities and provide sound solutions
- Detailed analysis to determine the most appropriate course of action, whilst demonstrating sound decision making. Data-driven and can produce campaign analytics
